The purpose of the MSM Parents Association is to build and foster a sense of school community and spirit, provide parents, guardians and students meaningful opportunities to learn about community outreach, raise funds for the PA-sponsored scholarship program, and serve as an avenue of communication and cooperation among parents and the school's administration and teachers.
The PA is a volunteer organization and relies on the dedication and hard work of the parents who give their time to it. There are numerous opportunities for parents to become involved in the PA and to apply their talents and special interests to benefit the children and the extended MSM community. Parents serve as PA officers, class parents and as members and chairs of various PA committees and activities. The PA coordinates events such as the Spring Benefit Auction, the Winter Coat Drive, the Holiday Toy Drive, activities at the Tribeca Family Festival, and It’s My Park Day at Washington Market Park.
On behalf of the Parents’ Association, we would like to extend a warm welcome to each of our parents for another exciting year. We hope that the information on our website will encourage you to become more involved with our organization and assist us with making this coming year yet another successful one.
